I Started Riding: Because my mom is a horse trainer it was easy to get into, and I got hooked!

Biography: Kelly is a nerd who loves to read and also enjoys photography. Her most admired riders are Mary King, Ruth Edge, Mark Todd and Mike Plumb.

Why I Started Riding:
my next door neighbor/my moms best friend got me into to doing English/western and at age 7, I switched to hunters and joined pony club and then I went to Eventing
Biography: In addition to riding, Amanda enjoys off-roading, camping, fishing and hanging out with her friends. Her most admired rider is Hawley Bennett.
Best Advice Ever Given:
if you're going to dream, dream big, why dream for something little you may as well go for it all, you're capable of doing anything even though it may take time and patience and hard work but at the end it will be worth it to see what you accomplished .

ICP Level 4 certified instructor - One of few in California.
Ridden through the Advanced level
25 years experience training horses and teaching clients
Has brought many students from the Novice level to the Advanced/Four Star level
Volunteered for a 3 year term as a Board of Governor for the US Eventing Association
Developed and ran the Young Rider Advancement Program for Area VI for three years
Currently the Area VI Young Rider Coach

Has been a trainer at Flying Tail Farms since 2000 and a student with Dayna and Flying Tail Farms since 1988.
Recipient of the 2007 Developing Rider grant.
Marketing degree from Santa Clara University – 2001
Currently the Young Rider Coordinator and Chef d'Equip for Area VI - leading the Area VI 2 star team to win two consecutive gold medals at NAJYRC in 2008 and 2009.
